We Have been doing Macro photos in Digital Art. Macro photos are when you get very close and focus on one object. I found it hard at first to make it so it isn't blurry and to get close. After taking a few photos it got easier and I started taking lots of pictures. Above are just two of the photos I took.

First Photos Collage
I made this collage from the first photos I took in Digital Photography. I took about 10 photos and choose my favourite four to display in a collage. I made the collage on Photoshop which was new for me because I have never used it before. I choose my format of how to display the photos and then changed the positions and how big they were. Finally i added a backround to the collage. I thought Photoshop was quite easy and basic but a few things were hard at first like adding a new layer. I think making the collage is a very good way to display more than one piece of work together.

Snowman Vector Graphic
I made this snowman following a tutorial. I learnt how to do some more skills and practised using the bezier tool. I had to use the bezier tool for the scarf and arms. For this I just made the shape basic and then using noods I reshaped it. For the hat I made it look 3D by making two ovals and gave the top one a gradient. I found making the snowman quite challenging and it took a while to make There are a few things that are not perfect like the scarf if not quite in the right place but i am happy with it.

Animal Heads
We are still working on Vector Graphics and have started to ake animal head. We used many new tools whilst making the animals including difference which I used to make new shapes from, so for example to make a cresent shape I overlapped two circles and then difference makes only the part that is not overlapped show. I also practised using intersection which I used for the stripes of the zebra. This makes the stripes fit the face exactly. The heads were fun to make but also hard and they took lots of work and time.
Here are some more examples:
Fruit
This was a drawing I did early on in Digital Art. It was made in Inkscape. For the Banana I made a circle and then shaped it with nodes. At the time this was very challenging for me but now I have a lot more skills it will be a lot easier. The grapes I used circles and then edited them to make the shapes more accurate and grape like. I would now probably be able to make them look better.
Animals
In Digital Art we made whole animals including the bodies. For the heads which we made earlier we just used path operations and basic shapes but for these we had to use a new tool, the bezier tool. With the bezier tool you can make straight lines and you can also curve the lines round. After you edit the nodes to make the shape looks better. I made the legs, arms, stomach and mouth with the bezier tool. For the head and ears I used basic shapes. Another animal I made was a fish, I made this mainly with the bezier tool.
Whilst I was making the animal it was fun to make. I also learnt so much about the bezier tool and how to use it better. It was confusing at first but now I understand it.
When I made the fish I also used gradients to make the different colours on the fish. I learnt how to do this when making animal heads but I have now developed it in this piece of work.

My Cartoon Head
On Inkscape we made cartoon heads. I made a basic shape for the outside of the head, for this one I used a circle. I then added ears and eyes. I made the eyes by making a white circle then duplicating it and making it smaller and blurring it and putting in a pupil. I then made the mouth and added the teeth by using the intersection tool. The intersection tool makes things fit into something perfectly. Making the head has really helped my skills, know I can use intersection for more things to make stuff look more accurate. I also know how to make eyes look realistic. Making the head was quite challenging but I am glad I made it as I have learnt a lot.
